  38. looks great

  39. Shop the sales

  40. I’m a lucky girl – My sis is very stylish, and is the same size – so I raid her closet often. As tho that isn’t enough? She is also a hair stylist – so I never have grow out or a bad cut!

    .-= MarionG´s last blog ..Fall Transitions =-.

  52. My biggest cheap style tip is to buy trendy clothes that you’ll only wear for a season at some place like forever 21, where they are cheap. Invest more on basics that you’ll have forever and accessories that can be worn with everything. Also, shop from the back of the store forward. They hide the good sales in the back.

  53. I think buying layering pieces is a great way to save money. Not only can you mix and match, but it’s a completely different outfit.

  54. I follow you on twitter as fefemarie09.

  61. Perfect! Not only is this such great timing its also wonderfully my style!

  62. ebay! i buy a lot of clothes there. prices are thrift store comperable, but you can search for just your size rather than going through racks and racks

  63. Shopping on line let’s you compare prices. Also you get really good ideas and sales. You can also get closeouts, discontinued styles, one of a kinds, etc. These are great.

  64. One thing that I have learned is to be picky while shopping. Whatever the trendy look may be, it’s not always for you. You’ll feel better about yourself when you only buy thing you genuinely like, and you’ll save money you otherwise would have wasted buying into trends.

  65. My wife and her friends get together once a month and have a swap party. They all bring a few of their gently worn outfits, a bottle of wine or margueritas, get bubbly, exchange outfits and have a great time.

Some things might be hard to find that way, and if you have to splurge, just do so on things you know will stand the test of time AND that you can use in a variety of ways.
