Happy Tulle’s Day

If you aren’t familiar with Tulle, it’s a California clothing store with an AMAZING monthly sale on the first Tuesday of every month called Tulle’s Day. The only catch is it starts at 12am PST, making it 3am EST for me in DC. I have a gift card for Tulle and I have yet to stay up for the start of the sale. Now that I’m in Boise for the summer, I’m hoping I can stay awake for next week’s event!




Two Timer Skirt

I had a hole in my wardrobe: no everyday black skirt. I do have a fancy shmancy black skirt, but it’s not something you wear in the daytime.  So, I busted out my Bernina and got to work.

How To Do Black & White

Black and white sounds so serious and dull at first, doesn’t it?  But this is a chance to be creative and fun it up with interesting shapes, lines, and textures.

Take a basic tank, for example.  Add a splash of lace and voila!
