I’m moving after the semester ends so I just repainted my apartment back to white and the bright, light walls really lift my spirits. I think that’s why we all look forward to spring. Not only do we anticipate the warm sunny weather, but also the bright fun fashions. Miss Selfridge‘s spring line is full of everything we love.

According to The Skinny, floral and animal prints will come into play once more during this year’s spring season. Dakota Fanning wore a leopard-print dress for the December Teen Vogue, and a similar version of it is now available at Forever 21 in its resort collection.

According to Elle, prints may also appear on draped clothing items, such as draped rompers and dresses inspired by Burberry and Emilio Pucci. Finally, turquoise is officially the color of 2010, and not without reason. According to Pantone, the company chose turquoise as the color of the year for evoking its “soothing, tropical waters and a languorous, effective escape from everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of well being.” Turquoise already appeared in the Proenza Schoulder Spring 2010 collection, as well as the Jason Wu’s 2010 shirts, dresses and harem pants.

Punk in Pink

I used to hate pink, but then I realized you can wear it without looking like a Disney princess. Miss Selfridge has a great collection of pink fashion for spring. Here is my perfect pink outfit:
