Now that I’m finally done with school, I’m (frantically!) looking for a job. Yesterday, I attended my first networking event since moving to Boise, Idaho from Washington, DC and I wanted to look my best. This required that I buy a new pair of shoes so I could feel chic and confident and I was lucky to find these nude pumps from Bakers.

They look torturous, I know. But they were incredibly comfortable and didn’t give me a single blister or raw spot. The platforms under the balls of your feet make the heel seem less high.  And the strap secures your foot in the shoe so your heels and toes aren’t rubbing against the patent leather.

Basically, if you have $85 and need a new pair of pumps, go get these!

Hurray for heels! Though personally, I only wear them for the pictures and then I change into flip flops.  Regardless, they sure are cute and are an absolute must if you are going for a chic or formal look at Homecoming.
