When looking around at various prom dress sites, I’ve noticed a major lack of dresses for curvy girls.  But don’t fret. PlusSize-Dresses.com is devoted to girls just you!

When deciding what to wear, please oh PLEASE don’t hide yourself beneath a maxi dress!  Instead, focus on highlighting your strengths and detracting attention from any problem areas (this advice is the same for any girl of any size).

For example, if you’d like to minimize the impact of your hips, try an empire dress with an A line skirt. This will make your waist look smaller and allow you to show off your *ahem* strengths.  You lucky girls have been blessed with some assets that you get to flaunt so be sure to show them off (tastefully)!
