My year here in Boise has been a looong one without any Nordstrom in sight. If you can believe it, there isn’t a single Nordstrom in the whole state of Idaho! Luckily, that will all change in two short days. Nordstrom Rack is opening up here in Boise, Idaho! And you can bet your booties that I will be there on opening day.

Ladies, there are some deals and steals at the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale! Don’t look in the Juniors section because there really isn’t anything that great this time around. Instead check out the Women’s section, particularly Savvy, Individualist, and t.b.d. That’s where you find fun brands like Free People and BCBG.
After spending too much time on their website, here are my favorite finds under $100.

The one great downfall of my move to Boise is the lack of Nordstrom. There isn’t one in the ENTIRE state! Though, thankfully, they are putting in a Nordstrom Rack sometime in 2012. This means I have to get my Nordstrom fix through their website which isn’t as fun as getting to the store at 7am on the first day of their sale. 
C’est la vie.
So after browsing for much too long, I’ve collected a list of my absolute favorite deals on shoes at their Half Yearly Sale.

I was volunteering at the local Humane Society the other day and, while walking a particularly energetic pup, got into a tug of war with my jacket. Unfortunately, the jacket didn’t make it. With temperatures dropping faster than LiLo’s self-respect, I’ve got to get another one asap.
[Tangent - there is the CUTEST long hair chihuahua at the Boise location right now. She must have just arrived because she isn't on their website yet. I don't know her name, but she's black and white and super friendly. Loves tummy rubs. She's very skinny and needs lots of food and lots of love. Go adopt her!]
For coats, olive green is a great option because it matches well with blacks and browns. And while I’d love a closet full of coats to match all my outfits, that ain’t gonna happen.
