When I get stressed, I sew. Some people clean, some exercise, but for me, sewing calms me down. With finals approaching, I’ve been sewing a lot. My latest project was this white tunic made from $3 pinstriped fabric. Since I’m still a novice, I like to make tunics because they have no zippers and achieving a good fit isn’t necessary. Plus, tunics are pretty versatile and can be worn with jeans, leggings, or tights.

Why hooded? It adds a bit of character and lets you stand out from the leather moto crowd. This one from Mike & Chris has just the right balance of girly toughness.
I usually post about chic affordable clothing, but every once in a while I like to dream about the haute couture out there. 
Right now I have the biggest crush on the clothes by Charles Anastase. The style is girly-quirky-retro which translates into adorable.
