Olive Another Coat, Please

I was volunteering at the local Humane Society the other day and, while walking a particularly energetic pup, got into a tug of war with my jacket. Unfortunately, the jacket didn’t make it. With temperatures dropping faster than LiLo’s self-respect, I’ve got to get another one asap.

[Tangent - there is the CUTEST long hair chihuahua at the Boise location right now. She must have just arrived because she isn't on their website yet. I don't know her name, but she's black and white and super friendly. Loves tummy rubs. She's very skinny and needs lots of food and lots of love. Go adopt her!]

For coats, olive green is a great option because it matches well with blacks and browns. And while I’d love a closet full of coats to match all my outfits, that ain’t gonna happen.

New Girl: Jess’s Wedding Look for Less

I love the New Girl! Every week I seem to fall in love with Jess, Zooey Deschanel’s character, a little more.

This week the crew went to a wedding and in a “suppress the Jess” moment, Jess picked a pretty one shoulder purple dress instead of a funky vintage look more in line with her personal style.

The New Girl: Fashion Recap

She wears hipster glasses, sings her own theme songs, and makes Lord of the Rings jokes. She’s Zooey Deschanel’s new adorable character Jess. Who couldn’t love her (“her” being both Zooey and Jess)? If you don’t, I’m sorry. We can’t be friends anymore. But, I’m not here to give you a simple episode recap – you can get a great one over at Hello Giggles. We’re going to talk about fashion, of course! And moon over Jess’s sweet sense of style.
