It’s on, ladies! Nordstrom, the king of sales, has way too many finds in their Anniversary Sale to include in a single post. Somehow, I’ve narrowed it down to these few items that go beyond want into the “need” category. My excuse: I could wear them to work (once I finally land a job, that is! Anyone hiring? I stopped by the DC Holiday Market earlier this week and was blown away by the awesome belts at Jon Wye‘s booth. Come to find out, they are locally made by the dude himself! (Check out his story on his site. Very inspiring!)

I saw a thin faux leather braided belt the other day for $30 and thought “I can do that!” So for this DIY project, the only skill you need is the ability to braid.

I’m so excited all that awful snow has finally melted here in DC and the flowers are a-bloomin’. Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous so I played outside and snapped a few pics (after school, of course!).  I recently purchased my very first romper from Target and I’m still a bit unsure how to pull off this trend.
