An Open Letter to Asos

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

Dear Asos,

I’m starting a brand new job, my first real one out of school, and am looking for some professional chic office wear to add to my wardrobe. I’m going to be a busy working woman and I need outfits that look serious, yet still fabulous.

Yes, your work wear fashions are chic, but you clearly don’t have your client’s needs in mind.

More specifically, what working woman has time to HAND WASH all her clothes?

What the heck are you thinking?

Sincerely,

Jen

New Girl: Jess’s Wedding Look for Less

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

I love the New Girl!  Every week I seem to fall in love with Jess, Zooey Deschanel’s character, a little more. :)

While her dress was probably from an expensive designer, you can get her look for less from Asos with this similar one shoulder purple chiffon dress.

The Perfect Dress

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

I have a big event in just 2 weeks and need the perfect dress. You know, one where you feel beautiful, confident, and special. I find dresses for all you girls all the time, but when it comes to finding a dress for me, I can’t seem to do it!

This is the front runner so far:

I particularly love the details around the neckline and back. There is a sophisticated, but fun feel about it.

Harry Potter Style

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Who made it to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2 last night? A-mazing! And sad too. I can’t believe it’s over forever!

If you didn’t see it yet, don’t worry. I won’t be sharing any spoilers in this post, but I do have Harry Potter on my mind. Hence, a Gryffindor inspired outfit that is stylish, yet functional enough to fight He Who Must Not Be Named.
