Have you ever loved something so much you buy one is several colors?

I definitely have and would certainly do the same with these adorable Gabriella Rocha shoes I found while putting together the Homecoming Headquarters. At $70 a pop, you could probably afford to pick out two or three for your closet. :)

Usually I like what I like and that’s that. However, every once in a while I change my mind.  I’m not stubborn, I will admit when I’m wrong and I was definitely wrong about the boat shoes trend.

I hated it at first and thought it was too preppy, but now I just love it! (Though I still wouldn’t wear them with a flipped up polo or plaid shorts.)

I was converted when I found out women’s boat shoes come in fun patterns and bold colors. Who wouldn’t love a leopard print or snake skin version?

Dress for Success in Moto Boots

I had the most awesome problem this week: How to wear these fabulous moto boots from Windsor to my brand new job? (Hooray for having a job and hooray for new shoes!) Luckily, my law office is very casual so the concept wasn’t off the table.

My solution? Voila:

The boots are quite comfortable and don’t require any “breaking in” agony, thank goodness! And as you can see, you can dress them up with a skirt and blazer. Oh, and did I mention they are only $40? Yes, $40!
