Fashion princess Selena Gomez tweeted a peek at her upcoming album cover for When the Sun Goes Down, which featured a fabulous pearl hair accessory.  It’s strangely reminiscent of both a flapper girl and an Egyptian goddess. Lovely!

I’m a bad fashion blogger, I know. This is the first time I’ve mentioned Topshop on Prom Mafia. But I had never been there before so I couldn’t preach the good word until I experienced it for myself. Well, I popped in to their store in New York City last weekend and loved it!

My hair is way too short to braid, but I’m in love with this trend anyway. Side braids are populating the runways and photo shoots and I think they would look lovely for prom. Especially if you are going for a glam rock look.
