This isn’t a couture blog, but I had to share the photos from Christian Dior’s Spring 2011 fashion show. The designs seem to mix the vintage sophistication of Mad Men with the whimsical colors of Degas.

I know what you’re saying….Finally! Some pics from DC Fashion Week! Sorry for the delay, but school has been crazy. I thought I’d start out with my favorite designer, local high schooler Alexander Zohore.
I know I owe you some pictures from DC Fashion Week, but I’ve been so busy with school that I haven’t even looked through them yet, let alone edited them! I did go through and pick out some cute outfits of other lookieloos like me.
I went to DC Fashion week’s big international show this weekend (pics coming soon!) and the Georgetown Cupcake (aka DC Cupcakes) crew, TLC cameras and all, were there with some creative and yummy treats.
(I’m super bummed because I would have inserted a video that I took with my camera right here, but I can’t figure out how to edit it! This is why I prefer the Flip…)
Spring is just around the corner, Mafiettes! Weather allowing, it’s time to start thinking about wardrobe innovations to transition smoothly and fashionably into the new season.
According to The Skinny, floral and animal prints will come into play once more during this year’s spring season. Dakota Fanning wore a leopard-print dress for the December Teen Vogue, and a similar version of it is now available at Forever 21 in its resort collection.
