Angel with an Attitude
Wednesday, April 21st, 2010When I get stressed, I sew. Some people clean, some exercise, but for me, sewing calms me down. With finals approaching, I’ve been sewing a lot. My latest project was this white tunic made from $3 pinstriped fabric. Since I’m still a novice, I like to make tunics because they have no zippers and achieving a good fit isn’t necessary. Plus, tunics are pretty versatile and can be worn with jeans, leggings, or tights.

Two Timer Skirt
Saturday, April 17th, 2010I had a hole in my wardrobe: no everyday black skirt. I do have a fancy shmancy black skirt, but it’s not something you wear in the daytime. So, I busted out my Bernina and got to work.

Pattern Sale
Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010As you know, I’m a DIY gal who loves to sew. For all you other DIY-ers, Vogue is having a clearance sale on their patterns until Wednesday!
Since I am a novice seamstress, I prefer the Very Easy Vogue patterns because they are, well, very easy!
