Yesterday, I received an email about the launch of a new shopping site: Threadflip. It’s a place to sell those special pieces you don’t really wear, but can’t toss aside to the wolves. You know, it’s for those boots you bought in NYC and want to make sure they are given to someone who can appreciate their specialness.

Plus, it’s a place to find some great deals on gently loved designer goods. I’ve got my eye on this bracelet. Isn’t it adorable?

The site appears to be in a pseudo beta form (notice some of the icons were missing in the screenshot at the top), but don’t let that deter you. In fact, you should get your butt over to their site asap. The longer you wait and the more they polish their site, the more visitors they will get who will buy up all the good finds.

This is a hidden jewel at the moment. Go snatch it!

Nordie’s Half Yearly Sale: Shoe Edition

The one great downfall of my move to Boise is the lack of Nordstrom. There isn’t one in the ENTIRE state! Though, thankfully, they are putting in a Nordstrom Rack sometime in 2012. This means I have to get my Nordstrom fix through their website which isn’t as fun as getting to the store at 7am on the first day of their sale. C’est la vie.

So after browsing for much too long, I’ve collected a list of my absolute favorite deals on shoes at their Half Yearly Sale.

Daisy Shoppe Dresses

I’m back from all my trips to California and boy did I have fun! My favorite part was definitely my visit to Daisy Shoppe in Southern California. If Betsey Johnson had a little sister, she would be called Daisy Shoppe. They carry Betsey inspired dresses in the $100 – $150 range as opposed to the $300 – $400 range.
