Back to School Shopping List

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

I have just completed my back to school shopping. I really didn’t need that much, just some notebooks, but I couldn’t help looking around Target anyway.  By the way, their notebooks are only $1. Yey Target!

If you haven’t started shopping yet, here are a few other things you’ll need:

1. A Backpack

2. Pens & Pencils

From amazon.com

3. Lunch box

I’m all ready to go, are you?

Get in the Kno

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

Let me start off by saying I hate digital books. There is something special about holding a real book in your hands and having a library of books to turn to, browse, and share.  In undergrad, a few of my classes tried to get us to purchase digital copies of our textbooks, and I found them horrid. I like to underline, highlight, and take notes in my textbooks, none of which you could do with the digital version.  But with the iPad, Kindle, and the like, it seems as though that is the way the world is going.

I’m reluctant to follow, but my mind has been opened by the Kno.

.
Pretty amazing, right? I think I might like that for my textbooks.  After all, carrying 30 pounds of law books plus a laptop to school is a pain in the back.  Too bad I’ll probably be all done with school by the time the Kno hits the market. I’d love to try it!

What do you think of the Kno?
