Zac Posen Opening Day at Target
April 26th, 2010 | Posted by Queen BeeSo, Zac Posen’s Target collection came out yesterday. I got there two hours after the store opened (I thought it opened at 10 on Sundays, but it opened at 8 ) and there was hardly anything left! I didn’t have any money to purchase anything anyway, but I still would have liked to have tried some stuff on.
Pretty much only XLs and XSs were left by that point. The quick sell out is no surprise considering the fact that this collection is so much cuter than the recent the Liberty of London and Jean Paul Gaultier collections.
Since the price of this collection is about double what you usually find in Target, I had some pretty high expectations. They were definitely met. Just look at the adorable details in this jacket!

And you know how Target is - it’s impossible to leave empty handed. So I snagged a pair of polka dot tights that I have been dying to get and a pair of striped knee highs on clearance for $1.50! No Zac Posen, but a good purchase none the less.

I didn’t bother going to the store, because I knew I’d encounter the same issue. A friend of mine even sent me a text from the Target where she was at, whining that they had the dress she wanted but not in her size. I ordered online and nabbed the tank style tie dye dress. That was the only piece I HAD to have.
The red jacket looks amazing! Too bad you didn’t get anything!

i haven’t gone to target yet! ahhh. i hope they carry it at my local one so i can at least try stuff on.
