Angel with an Attitude
April 21st, 2010 | Posted by Queen BeeWhen I get stressed, I sew. Some people clean, some exercise, but for me, sewing calms me down. With finals approaching, I’ve been sewing a lot. My latest project was this white tunic made from $3 pinstriped fabric. Since I’m still a novice, I like to make tunics because they have no zippers and achieving a good fit isn’t necessary. Plus, tunics are pretty versatile and can be worn with jeans, leggings, or tights.
For this look, I paired the tunic with my faux leather moto jacket from Forever 21, Vera Wang denim leggings from Kohls, wedges from Nine West, and a flower headband made by me.
I decided to be fancy by pleating the front of the top and adding a poofball detail to the left strap. I also tried it with a thin belt from Forever 21.
These shoes are definitely not comfortable, but they are so cute!

Love this look. The tunic looks fab and the headband looks great. I know what you mean about shoes looking cute but not being comfortable… the price we pay to look great lol
