Q & A: Ethical Fashion

March 12th, 2010 | Posted by

Queen Bee,

I hate the fact that many of the clothes I wear are probably made in sweatshops. Do you know of any great domestic or ethical fashion lines?

Hiya Rachel,

Thanks for the great question!  People Tree is a chic line that is environmentally friendly and socially conscious. They follow the Fair Trade principles set forth by the World Fair Trade Organization and help alleviate poverty in marginalized countries.  Be sure to check out the line designed by Emma Watson, aka Hermoine!

this line of clothing is so cool and I love that it is fair trade. I’d rather pay a little more knowing that it was made the right way… thanks for the post.
