Surviving Black Friday
November 27th, 2009 | Posted by Queen BeeSuccess! I made it to Old Navy at 3 am for my very first Black Friday and got some great deals on basic tops.
I snatched up some basic tanks for $5 and long sleeved tees for $8.
I have to admit, I was a little disappointed because those were the same prices I saw on Wednesday when I scoped the place out.
S0 I guess I braved the lines for nothing, but it was still quite an experience!
I wasn’t there early enough to get a free copy of Lego Rockband, but I did get a free tote bag.
So, all in all it was fun. I wouldn’t do it everyday, but once a year sounds great!
Did you go to any Black Friday sales today?

My mother and I go do Black Friday Every year. This year sucked compared to previous ones sadly. On a good not I did get some good stuff, I got a pair on ankle boots for $12 at F21, I got a blazer jacket and a skirt at macy’s for a total of about $17, and I got some coach sneakers for $39. So it wasn’t bad at all
You are a very brave shopper. I myself haven’t done the black Friday think in a couple years, but my mom tends to like doing it. I more of an online/thrift store shopper so I kind of try to avoid malls. But go you for surviving

Very colorful and cheerful!
i went to old navy too (along with a few other places). it was my first time, and i wasn’t too serious about anything, so it was a lot of fun. i got this red military jacket i love, though, on super sale, so that’s a good enough reason to try again next year.

I too went to Old Navy. We got there around 2:45 AM and there was already a huge line outside. We didn’t get in until around 3:15 AM and the line already snaked around the entire store. We had no hope of getting Lego Rock Band as they only had 75 copies. By the time we got to the front of the line at 4:30AM they were out of tote bags. I ended up buying just 2 little shirts for my nephews.
It was fun, but not worth the hassle. Will probably be my first and last Black Friday at Old Navy,
