2009 Celebrity Hair Trends
July 19th, 2009 | Posted by Queen BeeTrend #1: Peroxide Blonde
Blonde isn’t good enough anymore. This summer, the look is bleached blonde. Everyone from Taylor Momsen, Kate Moss, and So You Think You Can Dance’s Kayla Radomski is rocking a super duper blonde do.
.
But be sure not to over bleach it or you will have a fried and frizzy look like Rumer Willis.
Trend #2: Braids
I love this trend. I think it is just so sweet and very versitile. Perfect for school, the beach, a night on the town, whenever.
.
I also like the face framing braid trend.Too bad I have a bang thing going on.
Trend #3: Short Dos
Short hair is perfect for summer. It also makes your hair look and feel healthier because you are cutting off all the dead and damaged ends.
.
That’s why I cut my hair short a few months ago. Plus it’s so much easier to manage!
What do you think of this year’s trends?

Some of these are just too cute for words!
I think that bleached hair can look good sometimes, but it seems that most people who try it end up with white (or, heaven forbid, slightly purple in one girls I know’s case!) hair and it just looks OTT and like they’re trying too hard.
Although I do love my hair, if I try to cut it short I just end up looking incredibly odd or like my mother – not a good thing! Haha
I also LOVE french plaits, but I’ve never been able to do them, so that’s most nice braids out of the window for me xD
And I would have short hair if it looked nice on me
(Yey! I can get on the site again!!
)
Your hair looks awesome!
I’m not really one to follow trends – I shaved my head last year to raise money to donate towards cancer research, and my hair is still short now, but I love it.
I love the “Short Do”. Over the years, any woman who has opted for short hair was always aware that a well-crafted short style made her look more stylish, as it allows for endless possibilities of experimenting with hair.
