DIY Strapless Summer Top

I was shocked at how cheap and easy this was to make.

The fabric only cost $3 because I found it in the remnants section of a fabric store.  All I did was cut out two rectangles and sew them together. I added a contrasting sash to give the top a little spunk.

Granted, I’m no expert so this isn’t perfect, but what do you think?

super cute! this is way too crafty for me to pull off though

  2. Jamie says:

How did you get the cute neckline? Did you gather it at the top inch or so to make it dip down?

  3. Squid. says:

This is really cute, but you didn’t explain how to do it at all. What gives?

Haha, I know, I’m sorry! I didnt think to post about it until after I made it so I didnt have any pictures of the process.

And Jamie, to make the sweetheart neckline, I gathered it at the top an inch. :)
