How to Plan an Epic Grad Party
May 17th, 2009 | Posted by Queen BeeThrowing a big party for your graduation? Here are some ideas to make it perfect.
1. Invitations
People need to know you’re having a party…obviously. If you want personalized ones, these are less than $1 a piece.
A more economical idea is to make the invites yourself. I found some free templates here.
2. Decorations
How far you want to take this is up to you. You’ll definitely need something on the outside of your house to let people know where the party is. You can tie balloons to your mailbox.
Or you can get a yard sign.
You will also need some plates, cups, etc for your food. You can get grad party plates, school colors, your fave color, or any theme. For my last party, I used New Kids on the Block stuff because I thought it was funny.
Confetti is also a fun thing to sprinkle around on all your tables.
3. Party Favors
Some people like to give party favors out as a thank you for coming to their party. You can get personalized gifts like this:
Or these cute custom M&M’s.
All this talking about parties is making me excited for my graduation! (though it is still TWO years away!)
